Indie’s Bathtime

An ensemble of curious bath toys embark on musical adventures and discover the power of empathy!

Synopsis

‘Indie’s Bathtime’ is a beautifully handcrafted stop-motion series aimed at the preschool market, 2-5 year olds. Each episode begins in live action from the point of view of a 4-year-old girl’s bathtime routine. We then dive into the stop motion world inside the tub, where her imagination transforms the everyday into the extraordinary. Hand towels become seaweed, soap bars become a coral reef, and bath toys come alive as loveable characters. A deep sea world made entirely from bathroom-found objects!

In this underwater paradise our ever-curious Indie the Axolotl and her adorable bath-toy friends lead us on charming musical adventures; from chasing shower cap jellyfish, to bouncing in the squishy sponge garden. Everyday is an opportunity to discover someone or something new, and Indie wants to see it all.

Through Indie’s aquatic adventures and playtime with her friends, the show uses humor, music, and play to encourage social and emotional development in its young audience. The core philosophy is that curiosity must be nurtured, as it is the first step in understanding others and experiencing empathy.
